Inspired by the lack of comprehensive analysis concerningethics specifically related to games, this paper offers an extensive review and discussion on ethical considerations stemming from s utilized in game development. By dissecting these challenges through the lens of affective computing, our exploration delves into three primary components: elicitation manipulating emotions, sensing balancing privacy with safe spaces, and detection transparency and ownership during adaptation.

This paper ignite an inclusive dialogue among developers, researchers, policymakers, and users. It seeks to outline a robust framework that safeguards users while guiding developers towards fostering safer and more responsible gaming experiences, envisioning the ethical landscapes of current and future virtual environments.
